Jesus Wants to Live in and Through You

January 31, 2015 By Dale Fletcher Leave a Comment

Tree with Fruit. Scripture. If you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, the following biblical principle applies to you.

Just as the Father was “in Jesus” as he performed his miracles and served the least and the lost, Jesus is ‘in you” as you live your daily life. Just as the Father was doing his work through Jesus, it is Jesus that is doing his will through your life.

“Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.” ~ Jesus in John 14:10

If you believe and embrace this truth, have a surrendered heart, and are hungry for the power of God to be manifested in your life, it will happen! (Matthew 7:7)

This is the key to living a life where much fruit is produced. You don’t have to work at it. You only have to rest in this biblical truth. The fruit just comes about… and then God is glorified!

“When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” ~ Jesus in John 14:20

Does life have you desperate? Do you want to know the loving and powerful God that I’ve written about above? Read how to accept Jesus into your life.

An Affirmation to claim:

‘Blessed are you if you delight in the law of the Lord.

In His law (truth) you meditate day and night.

You shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither.

Whatever you do shall prosper.’

An affirmation written from Psalm 1:1-3

Have a great weekend, in Christ!
