How the Holy Spirit Grows Your Faith

Holy Spirit gives powerHow do you become more appreciative of and experience more of God’s love and grace… and then extend it to others?

It’s the role of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, to empower you to have faith ‘so that’ you may understand and experience Christ and His love in your heart.

“I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” Ephesians 3:16-17

A few verses later in Ephesians, Paul tells us that the more we experience God’s love the more we will be “filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Do you desire to experience the abundant life that Jesus died and rose from the grave for you to have? (John 10:10) Then I encourage you to read Ephesians 3:16-21 and ask God to have His Spirit empower you to have a measure of faith that will trust that Jesus is dwelling in your heart and transforming your life by living in and through you.

Then rest in this truth.

As this transformation occurs and your spiritual health improves, it will favor improved emotional, mental, and physical health.

Then, as your life bears this kind of ‘fruit,’ God will receive the glory.
