I was very excited to hear about the launch of the new self-paced version of PathWay 2 Wholeness. After taking the course several years ago, and then teaching the course as a Faith and Health Ambassador, I was truly impressed with the podcast feel of this newly refreshed version of the program.
The new format allows you to learn in the comfort of your own home at a time that is convenient with your schedule. It’s a great fit for people who work, and/or for those of us with very busy family lives.
Another way to utilize this wonderful self-paced program is to use it for your small group, or church Bible Studies. Just purchase the participant guides and your self-paced version of the study, and you are ready to serve your group. Participants will enjoy discussing their homework together and diving deeper into different aspects of the study together with their facilitator. But, the best part is that churches and small group leaders don’t have to worry over lesson plans and teaching because Dale does it all for you! And, because you are learning from the writer of the course, you gain insight that is unequivocal!!
After viewing the course, what was even more interesting to me was that it was recorded live with participants from across the country. You get the feel of being in a live class because you get to hear from the participants who I felt I could completely relate to!
Pathway 2 Wholeness is packed full of Biblical Principles that are life changing for your health. While most health and wellness programs focus on the outside, Dale’s program has always focused on the inner transformation that leads to outward change and results. In Version 4.4 of the PathWay 2 Wholeness Participant Guide, Dales states, “This initiative is focused on addressing your soul and spirit on the “inside,” hoping that your changed beliefs, attitudes, emotions, and thinking patterns will then help you change any behavior that may contribute to you becoming healthier.”
Some of the key topics that PathWay 2 Wholeness covers are:
- Spiritual fitness assessment
- A whole person health worksheet addressing 14 aspects of spirit, mind, body health
- 42 Biblical principles for living a full life in the area of your relationship with God, your self and other people.
- Life, stress, faith, and health models
- Mind renewal
- Weight management and healthy eating
- The benefits of physical activity with guidelines
- Personal growth planning
Another great aspect of the program is that you receive the great hand’s on PathWay 2 Wholeness Participant Guide with your purchase that will be mailed to your residence. This gives you and/or your class participants something tangible to take notes in and it contains all the key components of scripture, copies of key power point slides, and great session assignments to keep you moving along through the program.
All in all, I was very impressed and very thankful that as a Faith and Health Ambassador I have this option to offer my students.
