As the Wind Blows
a poem by Clint Fleming
Although I can’t see you
your presence, I sense is near.
I see you moving others
but your voice I can’t hear.
I want your protection,
I want you to help me to move
in the right direction,
just that the change you require
unto the unfamiliar, I fear.
Help me to open my heart
like a house that is closed up,
it’s stench in order to release,
must open it’s doors and windows
in order for your presence like a breath
of fresh air to release that which inhibits
my mind, body, and spirit to flow
to follow you in freedom
as free as the wind blows.
