I’m lifting up a prayer for each of you who read this post:
Good Morning God,
You are an awesome God, full of grace and mercy and love and forgiveness.
Your Word, your Son, tells us each to ‘come to you’ when we are burdened and are carrying heavy loads. (Matthew 11:28) Many of the readers of this blog need a touch from you. Please hear their cries for help. Provide them favor. Reveal yourself to them in ways that they will be able to clearly see you at work in their life. Then, prompt them to give you praise and honor and glory.
Show them how much you love them, Lord. Help them to experience your great love, even though they will never truly be able to appreciate how wide, how long, how deep and how high your love really is. (Ephesians 3:18) As they experience a measure of your love, help them to pour out that same love to others – their families and friends and especially to those in their circles who do not have a relationship with you.
Help them to have the honesty and courage to recognize the sin in their lives and then enable them to turn from that sin.
Help them to forgive those who have wronged them – really forgive them deep in their hearts. Help them to not carry around any bitterness.
Finally, help them to trust you more deeply – to have an active, daily faith in you and in your truths and in your ways.
