Right from the start
I heard your voice.
I was humbled to learn
that I was your choice.
You say that “You chose me,
I did not choose you.”
I knew in my selfish heart
just how much that stood true.
As I move along this seemingly
lonely path, help to know that you are
ever near. That in your will,
I can do all things with confidence,
no need to fear.
Open my eyes to see your plan.
Give me courage, to be that
Ambassador with just enough nerve,
to respond to your call,
a call to serve.
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that remains, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you”. John 15:16

Jeremiah 29:11-14
Hi Clint,
What a beautiful personal rendering of that Scripture! A stunning reminder that God chose me to go and bear enduring fruit. Our pastor talked about enduring fruit just yesterday. I will continue to pray for “just enough nerve” in His strength. Thanks so much!
In Christ,
