Faith and Health
There is a direct relationship or link between faith and health. God made us with a
spirit, mind and body and they work together as a whole. Researchers have been studying the connection between faith and health for some time. I founded this ministry to teach people how to integrate a spirit, mind & body approach to living a healthy life based on biblical principles and relevant medical research. I hope that the information and resources you find here will be helpful.
For Health and Fitness Professionals
I challenge you to roll up your sleeves and make an even bigger difference in the lives of the patients and clients you serve. Begin to find new ways to truly integrate a spirit, mind, body approach in what you do by incorporating a faith and health approach to your care. Use the resources that you find here. Visit my Blog. Expand your network by connecting with others there. Get involved! Let me know how I can help you better serve others with this integrated approach to improved health. Most of all, spread the love of God that He’s put in all of us to serve others and help make them more whole.
For Pastors and Ministry Leaders
First and foremost take care of your own total health. You’ll find information on clergy health at the Pastor tab of the site.
Learn more about the faith and health connection. Make use of the resources you find here to assist with your congregation’s health needs. Many people turn to God in times of need and ask Him to help turn around different aspects of their lives. It’s only natural that people would also cry out to God and apply their faith to help them with a health issue. More of God in our lives could be the solution for the obesity epidemic that our country is plagued with. As people draw closer to God, out of love and surrendering, then He can help them make behavior changes that can improve their health. It is my vision that materials and resources be made available that will help individuals grow in their faith as they address their health needs. Whether your church is in the Charlotte, N.C. area or anywhere in the states, you might consider asking me to lead a church retreat. More information about this program is on the Services page.
For Others
Better understand how the spirit, mind and body work together and learn how to integrate these three components and your faith into your day-to-day life so that you can enjoy better total health. As you learn more about this connection between faith and health you’ll be able to live a life that better integrates these components. With the improved level of health and wholeness you’ll be able to live a more full life and perhaps be better able to live out the purpose God has for you.

“…Spend your time and energy in training yourself for spiritual fitness. Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is much more important for it promises a reward in both this life and the next. This is true and everyone should accept it.” 1 Timothy 4:7-9 (New Living Translation - First Edition)
